Delicious Houjicha. Great price for a great Houjicha.

Bought a new matcha set because I saw that there was an option to have a purple chasen which I thought was cute and unique as the stores near me so not offer this color. Arrived and overall I like everything but the only downside was that the chasuku I received was natural wood color instead of purple to match the chasen. It's not a dealbreaker but had wanted something different.
The matcha (gold) itself is a nice bright green color and I tried it for the first time today. I didn't find it bitter. I think this is pretty good as an everyday matcha and it probably also will be good for baking 😁

Really good. My expectations and hopes were for a bolder, smoky, roasted flavor. This hojicha is subtly sweet and is delicate, nutty, and creamy. that pairs really well with honey, brown sugar, and cozy flavors, like mocha or maple or nutty flavors, like hazelnut.

I loved this matcha! It had a toasty nutty smell and flavour when mixed in a latte with oat milk. A lovely umami flavour, super satisfying. I recommend this matcha for those that want a more deep matcha flavour in their drinks! Seriously ur matchas are always a hit and my new fav!

I absolutely love Midori Spring and their matcha tea. I’ve tried others and the taste of Midori Spring doesn’t come close.

It is so soft and fine textured, blends very well!! The scent is very nice too and when made as a latte, there’s a fruity hint to it. Overall I’m very pleased!!

The Kiyora Matcha was absolutely freakin delicious! I have tried a variety of matcha. This matcha had such different tones and flavours that gave this deep satisfying taste when drinking. It had like a beautiful melon/floral scent and flavour in the most delicious way. It also had a very decent umami flavour as well which I loved. I feel like this is exactly how matcha should be like this with different notes and tone rather than just flat matcha I have tried in some cafes. This is definitely an all round matcha. 100% buying it again and again!

What an excellent product. You get the sense that it delivers everything that's promised on the label when you peel the freshness seal and smell the smooth pleasing matcha aroma. Its powder is bright green, not yellow or brown tinted and is so fine that it adhered to my finger like a coat of makeup. Again, the aroma is so pleasing and fresh when hot water is poured and whisked. This is how you can tell it is a good product and the flavor is rich, smooth, mildly bitter to the sides of your tongue and slightly sweet in the middle with a quarter teaspoon ceremonial style. I haven't learned to fully understand umami but let's just call it matcha taste that is associated with the smell that is definitely present and satisfying, never overly bitter from the start to finish. This is unlike other matcha products that are overly bitter from first taste perhaps due to their aging or losing freshness.. There is a small "Thank You" note inside the can with a gift to claim. It reminded me of some items that Japanese companies give as gifts after purchasing one of their products, it's a very, very nice touch, thank you. From beginning to end you experience quality and the value is worth every penny spent because I know people work hard to provide this as not only a product but a service. This review is my thanks to everyone involved with the production of this fine matcha. I am no expert just a matcha lover. Thank you all for your hard work.

I first started drinking this Matcha in 2020, and I promise you it has been the most consistent, delicious matcha I’ve ever tried. So when I found that it is offered in bulk, I felt confident swooping up a kilo. Thank you, Midori Spring!

I’ve been a long time drinker of Midori Spring’s emerald matcha and just purchased this on a whim. I absolutely adore it. The smell is a bit overwhelming at first, but made into a nice latte, it has intense notes of caramel and a soothing, grounding effect. Plan to be a long time drinker of this as well.

This is hands down my favorite matcha and is a bang for your buck. I just make mine in an automatic frother every morning and one bag lasts 2-3 months. The color is a vibrant green; the powder has a fragrant smell and not bitter at all, and is comparable to other ceremonial matcha I’ve tried in the past for a lot cheaper.
